Underground Greens are grown in our urban farming facility in the heart of Washington, DC. Our proximity allows us to service customers quickly, with no minimums and even on demand when crops are available. We will work with you to customize a growing and harvesting schedule that meets your needs.
Growing hydroponically in a controlled environment eliminates the threat of pests destroying our crops. No pests = no pesticides. In fact, we do not use any chemicals in the production of Underground Greens, just seeds, natural growing media, natural nutrients, light, and water. Nature does the rest.
Underground Greens grows more than twenty varieties of microgreens and delivers them freshly harvested or live to restaurants, juice bars, grocery stores, and CSAs within the metropolitan Washington, DC area the same day. We grow to order so all we ask is that you provide us with 10-days lead time for your first order or whenever you want to try something new. We will work with you to establish a recurring order pattern to make the ordering process as simple as possible for you.
